Happy 7th Birthday, Brandon!

Kids woke up early again today. Daddy helped send Alicia & Caden for their swimming class while Mummy stayed at home with Brandon to do some packing.

It rained and the swimming complex sounded the siren cos of lightning at 9.30am. We went for a haircut when they came back. Mummy went to fetch 99 fr Gu-gong's nursing home as she also wanted a perm n cut. While waiting for her, we went to hv our lunch.

Dropped her at T1 to hv lunch with da Yi and the rest while we shopped at TM. Brandon chose his birthday gifts fr da yi and small Yi fr toys r us. Mummy bought 2 pairs of shoes for Alicia too.

Had a cake cutting for both Valarie & Brandon before we went home. Caden stayed back as we need to fly off tmrw.

7th Birthday

Xiao gu went ahead to get a cake to celebrate Brandon's birthday even though we aren't dining out. We celebrated with him, officially, at home. He was very happy as I allowed him to unwrap the present fr Daddy n Mummy.

Stomach Flu

Mummy didn't sleep well last nite. Caden woke up at 3+an to pass urine. Then, he climbed onto my bed. Next, Brandon woke up to put put. He was hving stomachache. Gave him a dose of medication and brought them back into their room. Not sure y, Caden cldn't sleep. Brandon was also fidgeting cos of stomach pain. This went on till almost 5am. I slept beside Brandon. Caden woke up at 6+am and started talking n singing. That woke Alicia up. We all got out of bed at 7am and prepared for the zoo trip.

Brandon insisted on going despite his discomfort. We thought we'll just go slow. Who knows, he complained of stomach ache again at the zoo.

After we came home, quickly brought him to c doctor. Sigh... Mild fever n stomach flu. If fever doesn't subside by Monday, will hv to bring him to A&E for a blood test. There's a dengue outbreak in our neighbourhood!

He took his medication and seems to b feeling better now. We've postponed the feasting for today n tomorrow cos he doesn't hv the appetite. Hope he'll recover by tomorrow.

Singapore Zoo!

Brandon had requested to have breakfast with the orang utans at the zoo. So off we went early in the morning. Reached there just in time for the 9am breakfast. $31 for Adult and $21 for Child.

Brandon and Caden didn't eat much. Instead they were busy with the animals. We queued to take photos with the orang utans. Brandon was most excited over the slithering animal. 1st, he carried it and took a photo. When he saw someone hving it around his neck, he also wanted the same. So brave!!

We quickly made our way to the Snake House, followed by the Animal Friends Show and the Rainforest KidzWorld. The weather was great! Too bad we din hv much time there.

Once home, we rushed Alicia to Shermaine's birthday party.

3rd round birthday celebration

Caden went to the zoo for an excursion today. He was super excited over it - slept early at 8pm last nite and woke up automatically at 7am this morning.

As he'll only return at 1pm, Daddy & Mummy went to PS's Tim Ho Wan for breakfast. We reached there abt 9.35am and managed to get in by 10.15am. Food was good, esp the 叉烧包 and 腐皮卷.

We even ordered for takeaway! Brought some for 99 and Val before we headed home to fetch the kids fr school.

Brandon said the past few celebrations were not counted as there wasn't any birthday cake. So, we went to Sushi Tei as requested by him, and asked for a candle on his dessert. He was so happy!

2nd Round Birthday Celeb

Busy Thursday afternoon... After picking Caden up from school, Daddy dropped us at 99's place before meeting his Uncle Wong for lunch. Then, after lunch and bathing, we drove small-Yi's car to pick Alicia n Brandon up from school. As small Yi's flight landed earlier, Mummy dropped all kids at our place and passed over the afternoon duties to Daddy, who came home in time.

He sent Caden for his phonics class and brought the two for lunch at MacDonald's. Brandon chose the venue again to celebrate his birthday. Was told that they waited for Caden to end class before hving ice-cream!

Mummy picked small Yi up n waited for them to pick me up fr 99's place.

Rush rush... Then rushed home to prepare early dinner for the kids cos of tuition in the evening.

Caden slept early tonite cos he needs to wake up early for his school excursion to the zoo tomorrow. He's super excited over this trip. Hope he'll enjoy himself!

Celebrating Birthdays

Brandon's birthday falls on 28 April. Last nite, we told him we'll celebrate for him on Sat n Sun. He was unhappy, "Huh? 2x only?" Haaa!!! He demanded to celebrate more times cos Alicia n Caden celebrated for almost one month. When we gave the excuse that his birthday falls on month-end, he insisted on rolling it over to May!

So, Daddy asked him how he wants to celebrate and where he wants to go eat. He said, Mc, BK, Sushi Tei, Swensen's... All his fav restaurants. Hence Daddy agreed to let him start celebration from today. He was so happy! There.. we had lunch after his school at BK Nex.

Strawberries

My boys love strawberries. Mummy bought 2 boxes today. They must b v sweet. For someone (Alicia) who doesn't like, but asked for more, ... : )

Porridge

Caden loves the porridge that I cook so much so that he'll usually hv more than 1 serving. Today, he asked for a 3rd serving! This boy can eat but never puts on weight. :(

Temple pray pray

Caden came back fr school - automatically took out his homework to do. This is what I love of him. We even prepared some work to do during his 'staycation' at 99's house next week.

Afternoon, kids learnt their Spelling for tomorrow while Daddy brought Ah Ma to SGH for her doctor review. They also played running game. Brandon was in charge of blowing the whistle (horn) while Alicia n Caden ran. So funny to see them run.

We went to the temple after dinner to pray pray. Quickly showered before going to bed. Tonite, Daddy massaged for them. They love it v much n will all sleep easily n deeply. What a 二十四孝父亲.

Tired Morning

Kids woke up before 7am today!! That's them... waking up early whenever there's no school. Went for their swimming class as usual, while Daddy went brisk walking at the nearby stadium.

We had initially intended to try the dim sum at 1-Michelin star restaurant Tim Ho Wan at Plaza Singapura. But, o my!! The queue was at least a 2-hour wait even tho we reached there at 11am.

Forget it... We had lunch at XinWang instead. We also had afternoon tea at the atrium, compliments from Lipton Tea cos of our spendings. The kids enjoyed it v much!

Dunno y, but they r especially noisy today. Even Brandon talked so much today.

Went to 99's house after that. Mummy n Alicia went shopping at TM while the boys stayed at home. Went home after dinner and the tired kids fell asleep v quickly.

Chong Hsu's mum

Daddy's friend Chong Hsu's mum came over for a chat today. We last met her on our Taiwan trip in Aug. Daddy suggested hving dinner at Jing Hua Xiao Chi (京华小吃) and off we went!

Homework Day

Where possible, Mummy will try to keep Saturday mornings as 'Homework Day'. They'll all hv to complete their enrichment classes and CCA homeworks. In addition, they'll usually hv to do an assessment paper.

Children, this is for your own good. Mummy always want the best for you. Don't b angry ok?

Afternoon Tea

Kids hv no class on Fridays. So, we went J8 for afternoon tea at Toast Box before Daddy collected his new pair of glasses.
