Alicia attended her 2nd Maths Olympiad course today. She's amongst the few students selected by the school to attend this course. Still remember the day when I picked her up after school one day. Her best friend Shermaine beamed and told her mummy and me, "We very good in Maths so we r selected to attend a course!" Well, yes indeed, clever girls.
Alicia not only did well in her Maths. She also did well for her English and was selected to go they Scrabble training. If she continues to prove herself, she might even be selected to represent the school in competitions. Keep up the good work!
Sigh... Brandon was happily telling us about his art n craft work today in the car. As he has Chinese Oral tomorrow, I allowed him to skip Abacus class so that I can revise with him. This boy ah... the teacher said he can't even say his nouns n verbs, i.e. doesn't know the terms, how can he form a complete sentence? As usual, he cried n got angry when I wanted to teach him. After finally settling down, he said he needs to poo. Then, he said he's tired and can't concentrate. Hence, nothing learnt. :( Came evening, he made Daddy teach him. After reading 3 stories, he lost his interest again. I really hope for wonders tomorrow. Will he just b staring at the teacher??
Caden, o Caden. He's such a wonderful boy today. No whining at all from him for the whole day. Woohoo!!! He attended the Abacus class alone without any resistance too. Teacher Peirong praised him for doing well too. Before bedtime, we read a storybook together. He recited his Tangshi poems to me. For the good behaviour, I sang lullaby and patted him to sleep. Done in 5mins. : )
