Updates on Brandon

Brandon started Primary One this year, luckily without much problems. We were initially worried that he'll not be able to cope with his school work but he seems to be managing them well, thus far. His reading skills has improved tremendously since beginning of the year. He has also started being interested in reading books, especially on topics of interest to him, namely dinosaurs and snakes.

One concern I have is his temper. Unlike Alicia, it's so so difficult to get him to sit down and do his homework, learn spelling or do assessment practice papers. I think, it's even more difficult than moving a mountain. Mummy always end up losing my temper, and he his.

His major block is Chinese. Since the end of last year, Mummy signed him up for Berries class. So far so good. He's beginning to speak and understand a little and able to recognise some hanyu pinyin. I hope he'll continue to stay interested. He has already requested to be withdrawn from his Creative Writing class and will be withdrawing from the abacus class. Jia you, my boy!

Jus look at him! This is how he'll behave when he refuses to do his homework.

His 1st Show and Tell last week. Not too bad, he got a 10/12 from his teacher.
