Dinner & Dessert

It's Alicia's lunar birthday today. Daddy specially came back early from work to bring us out for dinner.

We had dinner at Sushi Tei and popped over to Ice Cube for dessert.

Blow hair

Brandon came out fr his bath and requested to blow dry his hair. Without me saying further, he immediately went to take it fr my cupboard after dressing up. He seemed to enjoy it so much!

Spider-Turtle

Caden won a game on Sun with da Yi and was given $10 for him to get a toy. He spent it on a spider-turtle.

Must go school today

Caden came back from school yesterday telling me that he will receive a belated birthday present from Haijing, another of his girlfriend. And he ended with "so I must go to school tomorrow".

This morning, I asked him to skip school since he's tired when I woke him up. He quickly got up and gave me a smile. He insisted that he must go to school today.

When I fetched him after school, he happily said that his present is in his bag. She had quietly put it into his bag n he also quickly zipped the bag without any of their friends' knowledge. So secretive!

Caden even went up to her mum and said, "Thank you Auntie!"

Only realised that she had given him his present so late cos she had ran too fast and knocked her head against the wall. The cut on the left eyebrow needed 7 stitches! Ouch!!

Caden rode the scooter skate home and didn't even want to spend time playing at the void deck today. He was just too eager to open up the present!

It's a stationery set fr Smiggles. And he's loving it! Def better than the over-sized shirt from Joand. Haaaaa!!!!

Soccer training

Sunday - Mummy made pancakes with strawberry for the family for breakfast on Saturday. They requested to hv it again for breakfast on Sunday but with bananas instead. Of cos I was more than happy to prepare for them.

We allowed the kids to skip swim class cos they were either hving flu or sore throat. Daddy brought them to play soccer instead.

It looks like Caden was more enthusiastic than Brandon. Fully attired, Brandon was however too lazy to move around. He told us he wanted to b a goalkeeper. We laughed at him for being too short. He said his friends said that about him too. When asked for the reason, he replied, "it's very exhausting to run about, you know?" Haaaaaa!!!! Daddy & I had a good laugh! Lazy boy ah!!!

After a good workout, we went home for home-cooked ramen lunch. Yummy!

Went to 99's house after washing up.

New Soccer Ball

We went Centrepoint Orchard shopping today, after so many months...

Daddy bought a soccer ball for Brandon. He initially chose a Netherlands ball cos of the color. Once he saw the Man U ball, he decided on it. Of cos, Daddy is happy too!

We had dinner at Swensen's before heading home. Caden was glad to hv his junior Coit Tower for his birthday month.

Hope to hv time to play tomorrow.

Piggy-back Day

The kids took turns to get onto Daddy's back today...

New Chinese Tutor

Mummy tried cooking ramen with egg for lunch today. I'm so glad it tasted yummy, especially the eggs. My kids loved them!

Today, Brandon started Chinese tuition with a new teacher. I arranged the timing such that it coincides with Alicia's scrabble. Hence, we walked to school together.

Caden was very happy to get 100% of my time! Hee.. Not quite, actually.. I prepared dinner before fetching them home.

Brought Caden along n allowed him to scooter skate. He's getting a hang of it now.

Fetched Alicia before fetching Brandon fr the tutor's place. She feedback that Brandon is considered ok. Ran thru what she taught him n assigned homework n reading practice for him. I asked him on our way home and he told he he prefers this teacher to the previous one. Great start!!! Hope he'll b able to learn more fr her n improve on his Chinese.

It also turned out that the tutor's daughter is Alicia's friend fr the Scrabble Club. It was hilarious when they met at the door.

On our way back, the kids took turns to play on the scooter skate.

In the evening, only Alicia and Caden hv their usual tuition with Teacher Lee. I'm thinking of changing tutor for them too in the next few months. Shall see Brandon's progress first.

Studious Boy?

Heeee... Does my boy look studious? He's been such a darling recently; not making any noise when I learning spelling or doing assessments.

I did a spot check this afternoon. Came home quietly after sending Alicia and Caden for their enrichment classes. He was doing his work despite Ah Ma sitting beside him n talking to him. He either can't understand her or simply can't b bothered to answer.

Hope this good behaviour continues...

Training on skates

Brought the boys down to the void deck to train Caden on using the scooter skates after Brandon came back fr his Chinese remedial.

Heee... He's still not very good at it. Can't really manoeuvre the skate yet. More practice needed!

The Lego Movie

Daddy n Mummy woke up early to send Er-gu and 99 to the airport. Both r going on a holiday to Phuket and Vietnam respectively.

We had breakfast at Coffee Bean at T2. Daddy said it's a treat for Valentine's Day. 😍

Came home to fetch Alicia & Brandon for their swimming class. Caden stayed at home with Daddy.

Brandon swam without the back float again today. He really has to swim hard now instead of taking his own sweet time floating. Good for him!

Went home to fetch Daddy and Caden n we went Vivocity to exchange Caden's scooter skate. It's a present fr Ah Ma, Fa gu, Er gu and Xiao gu. As it was too small, we got a bigger one. Alicia & Brandon can also play.

Caden chose to hv lunch at Soup Restaurant. We finished up everything we ordered!

Went to see pets at the Pet Safari n shopped at Daiso. Caden made us buy a gun each for his birthday present. Daddy readily agreed!

Came home to learn their 听写 for this week before they played the new scooter.

Then it was the highlight of the day - The Lego Movie. Daddy didn't find the movie nice. All we cld take back fr it was the song - Everything is Awesome!

Happy Birthday Caden!

Oh my Caden is 6 years old today. He ran to my room the moment he woke up. He was very happy when I greeted him with a birthday song. 💕

He wanted MacDonald's breakfast and so we brought the kids there. This was followed by a simple lunch at home. We had initially planned a day out at Safra Jurong but shelved the plan as he's sick.

We played UNO cards, went to the nearby new playground and had a mini birthday celebration for him in the evening.

My darling... Mummy wishes you a happy happy birthday. May u grow strong n healthy n stay happy always! Daddy, Mummy, jie jie and gor gor love u!!!
