She was very nervous the day before the competition. After she came back from school, she took out the scrabble board and played with Caden.
I went out for dinner with my friends. She messaged me and told me that she's very nervous. No matter how I persuaded her to relax, she just doesn't understand that winning is not important. Daddy had a pat talk with her after he came home from work.
On Saturday, the butterflies in the stomach started in the morning. She woke up very early and kept finding work to do.
Daddy & Mummy sent her to school together. We picked her up after the competition to bring her out for dinner. The nervousness seemed to be still there, but much better than the day before.
Hope she'll learn and be able to be calm for future such events.
