Fastest or Slowest?

My girl, Alicia, is fastest.... when it comes to eating. Give her whatever for dinner, she'll finish it very fast.

Brandon, however, is very slow, most of the times, when it comes to dinner. He tends to eat very slowly... unless it's something he loves.

On the contrary, it's a difficult task waking Alicia up in the morning or even getting her to do things fast. She'll take her own sweet time to wash up, dress up, comb her hair, etc. To get her treaty for school or to go for enrichment classes, I'll have to nag n nag at her to hurry up!

But when it comes to waking Brandon up, it's so easy! I'll jus need to go to him and greet him good morning, and he'll reply with a good morning and get out of her immediately.

Talk about no 2 best things are together...

You're so cute!

Fetched Caden after school today. After he bade goodbye to Joand, she came up to him and pinched his cheeks (jus like what I did in the photo) and said, "You're so cute!!!!"

Haaaa.... Joand, I think you're the cute one!!!

No problem!

The boys went for their Berries class today. I asked the teacher how Caden did for his assessment 2 weeks back. She replied, "哦!佳凯的程度没问题!他非常好!"

Look at him in his clothes for today n the Transformers tub we got from USS on Sunday. Matching??

Yummy cheesecake!

Woohoo!!! Mummy made an Oreo cheesecake yesterday. Everyone said it tastes yummy!!! I'm so happy!

Transformers

School days after exams is indeed different. Kids seem to b so relaxed.

It's Monday again! No afternoon classes today. Although no more exams, the kids still need to complete their homework for their enrichment classes. They did it in the afternoon amidst play time.

Brandon was allowed to open up his Transformers toy bought at USS yesterday. He fixed it together with Caden.

They all had an early dinner, followed by TV. It's also early bedtime for them.

USS!

It was an extra busy Sunday.

The boys went for their swim class while Alicia took a break n went Safra Mac for breakfast. Today, Caden did a few full laps on his own, with his float of course. But it's a good start!

We went for our haircut after that. As we were going out instead of home after the haircut, I let Alicia do a wash n blow too. The boys jus rinsed their hair. They enjoyed the "hair-tub" aka basin!

As promised, Daddy brought them to USS. We had lunch at China Bistro, took the Elmo, Transformers rides, had snacks at Star Bots Cafe, watched the Water World show and ate churros! Brandon also got a toy from Transformers shop with his saved Tan $.

Then we drove over to VivoCity for dinner at Soup Restaurant.

By the time we reached home, we were all so tired...

Relaxing After Exams

It's a great day today, except for the fact that Daddy had to go to work.

Daddy n Mummy are so happy after the good news yesterday. We're in such good mood!

Mummy decided to make egg mayo sandwich for the kids for breakfast this morning. Hence, I woke up early to boil the eggs. The kids woke up just in time to help prepare. Alicia happily made 2 sets - 1 for her beloved Daddy, and 1 for Mummy. She's probably in a super good mood too - she ate 2 servings of sandwich!

The rest of the day while Daddy was away at work, we nua-ed at home - watch TV, play toys, play iPad... Mummy made tiramisu. Alicia said today's tiramisu is tastes very good! Made me so happy too.

We waited for Daddy to come home in the evening to bring us for dinner. As usual, we went to Sushi Tei @ Serangoon Gardens. Given was usual special corner, with desserts on the house again. How we love the special service we get there every time we patronise. Thank you!!

ICAS Assessment

Alicia was selected for the ICAS Maths Assessment somewhere in August. Today, she came back with the results. Mummy was quite disappointed when I saw Credit on the certificate. But the details showed that she's the top 15% in Singapore, I felt so proud of her. Hugged and kissed her. So happy that I cried. How clever my girl is! Quickly shared the good news with Daddy. He was super happy too!

As she also did well for her SA2, I let her open one of the new toys. She was also allowed to play the iPad without paying the Tan $. Mummy bought her favourite dishes for dinner tonite - chicken wings, cereal prawn, hot plate toufu, broccoli, etc. While waiting for Caden to finish his phonics class, I also bought a Winx Club magazine for her.

I believe in rewarding her for the good work. She's happy, I'm happy, Daddy's happy.

To top it off, Mummy received news that our reservation for W Sentosa Hotel in November is confirmed! Woohoo!!!

Variants of Pasta

After the concert, Mummy cooked pasta for dinner. Alicia & Caden loves the tomato based while Brandon prefers cream based. So I did both. As the adults prefer to hv vegetables, I did a pasta salad for them. Daddy loves it.

Caden's Year-end Concert

Caden had his year-end concert on Thursday afternoon. As Daddy has a meeting scheduled prior to this, he cldn't make it to watch. Alicia & Brandon went after their school to give him support!

The concert was held at the school hall this year. A very small place that can't accommodate many people. We've given feedback that they hold it at the CC next year. Hopefully, it will be as Caden is graduating.

Overall, the concert was ok. Caden did a wonderful job! Mummy is so proud of him!

No new tooth

My boh-geh boy is not growing any new tooth yet! Not very handsome now...

Old School Cakes

Aunty Corina introduced Mummy to old school cakes from Pine Garden Cake shop at AMK. Since it was on the way, we dropped by on Wednesday afternoon to get a few. They also hv special cakes such as Nuttymisu, Peanut Butter, Black Glutinous, Lychee Martini, etc. I spent almost $30 on them!

Kids ate the old school while the adults ate the special cakes. Yummy!

Back from School

Caden followed Mummy to fetch jie jie n gor gor after their school. So loving of them today. They hugged each other and held hands when walking home.

They said the English paper was easy. Oh dear! My fear is they'll hv careless mistakes if they think that it's easy!

Caden also tagged along when I went to buy lunch from the nearby coffeeshop. He wanted to sit the kiddy ride but mummy din hv any 20c coin with me. Hence, after cooking dinner, I brought him down again to take the ride.

The boy... when I was texting Daddy, he came to me and wanted to comb my hair. I saw that his hair was standing! He had taken Alicia's comb n wet his hair before combing it up! Cheeky boy!

Relaxing before exams

Alicia n Brandon will b hving their exams from Monday. For the past week, they've been doing assessment papers daily. Hence, for today, Daddy said to give them a rest. I only let them do a mock test in the morning and it was play n TV for the rest of the day.

We went to 99's house for a while about 3.30pm. Then we went to the airport for dinner. The main purpose is to pick Cousin Shermaine who's back from her school trip to Taipei.

We quickly went home after that to let the kids sleep early. Daddy gave them all a good massage as promised so that they can sleep well. How they miss his massage!
